He completed his MBA with High Distinction at Harvard Business School where he was the Dean’s Award Winner for leadership and public service and commencement speaker. Paul Corts

Dr. Corts formerly served as Assistant Attorney General for Administration for the U.S. Department of Justice with Attorney General John Ashcroft. In his role as Assistant Attorney General for Administration, Corts serves on the President’s Management Council, Council of Chief Financial Officers, the Enduring Constitutional Government Coordinating Council, the Executive Board of the International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (Department of State), and various other federal organizations. President Bush has also appointed Dr. Corts to serve on the Board of Directors of the Federal Prisons Industries. Prior to his work at the Department of Justice, Corts served as president of Palm Beach Atlantic University and president of Wingate University. Corts has served many professional organizations in higher education, including a term as president of the American Association of Presidents of Independent Colleges and Universities, an advisory policy board member for the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, as well as chair of the board of directors of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida.
David Grizzle

As Chief Operating Officer, Grizzle leads the FAA’s 35,000 controllers, technicians, engineers and support personnel who are responsible for keeping air traffic moving safely and efficiently. Previously, Grizzle served as the FAA’s Chief Counsel, from June 2009 to April 2011. He led the 300-person legal team responsible for agency regulation, safety enforcement and compliance programs, airport and environmental matters, personnel and labor law. Before joining the FAA, he was with Continental Airlines and its affiliates for 22 years, retiring in 2008 as the Senior Vice President of Customer Experience. During a leave of absence from Continental starting in 2004, Grizzle served for 14 months with the U.S. Department of State in Kabul, Afghanistan, as Attaché, Senior Advisor and Coordinator for Transportation and Infrastructure. In Kabul, he steered the American reconstruction effort in the areas of aviation, roads, power and communications. He advised the U.S. Ambassador and four Afghan ministers and coordinated the efforts of the U.S. Agency for International Development and other multilateral development banks. Grizzle is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.

Art Hill is the Associate Dean for MBA Programs and the John and Nancy Lindahl Professor for Excellence in Business Education in the Supply Chain and Operations Department in the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point for two years and earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Indiana University, an MS in Industrial Administration from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University, and a Ph.D. in Management also from Krannert. Art has been recognized as an outstanding instructor in the Carlson School of Management in several national publications including Business Week. In 1999, the Carlson School of Management nominated him for the All-University Teaching Award for Graduate and Professional Education and he won the Golden Globe Teaching Award in 2002. He has extensive international experience on four continents, including helping found the Soviet-American Management Institute in Moscow (1989), teaching in executive programs at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa (1990, 1991) and at IMD in Switzerland (1994-1995), and holding the position of Distinguished Visiting Professor at the National University of Singapore (1999).

Aviva Jacobs serves as the Senior Managing Director with Teach For America. She manages the Teacher Leadership Development team in Chicago, where she and her leadership team support 400 corps members, and she is responsible for leading a team of 30 staff members. Aviva completed her B.A. in 2003 at the University of Michigan where she also played on the Women’s Varsity Soccer Team. She completed her M. Ed. at Harvard’s School of Education in the Teaching and Learning program. She taught both in New Orleans and Chicago and has been on staff at Teach For America for the past 4 years.

Jeremy Lenz, Chief Operating Officer for BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota, is an innovative leader who has been recognized by many for his up and coming leadership. He is a 2008 Twin Cities Business Journal 40 under 40 honoree and a 2006 recipient of the American Marshall Memorial Fellowship from the German Marshall Fund where he studied throughout Europe in a month-long, transatlantic leadership exchange. He has also been chosen as one of “200 Minnesotans You Should Know.” Jeremy serves on the Board of Directors of the University Enterprise Laboratories (UEL). UEL is a bioscience incubator offering wet lab space to bioscience companies emerging from the University of Minnesota and elsewhere.
